Why is it always mud today?

After waiting and watching the chaos that was the early smart meter rollout and waiting a bit longer, having finished the extension I finally ordered the smart meter installation and it was fitted today.

The install went ahead without issue, although the installer didn't like me photographing his Gas Safe accreditation card (once an SAP, always an SAP). Of course, they didn't have the add-on access point with which you can view your metering in app, but instead left the display unit that will inevitably get shoved into a drawer before long.

In the afternoon, after the rain stopped, I took a wander into the countryside, and spotted missus mallard with three chicks in the mill stream. Here's one. No doubt the others will appear on the web soon.

Still time to add your back blipped Tiny Tuesday "something rough" TT516... I'll be going through them all tomorrow afternoon. :-)
