Center Field

Went to the Yankee game today and it was my first time visiting the new stadium. They played the Oakland A's, and although the Yankees had won their last 8 straight games, their line-up was basically their B squad. The A's aren't very good this year, and I guess the Yanks figured they could get away with resting most of their players. NY was down 6-1 in the 7th when they started to put their stars back in. After a pair of home runs they had pulled to within 2 run at 6-4, but it was not enough. They stranded a runner on third in the bottom of the 9th and the Yanks lost. Too bad, at least their still all alone in first place.
