Mother in waiting

Today I took Jimmy to spot our local swans on the Derwenthorpe Lakes. The Pen was sitting patiently on their nest while the Cob was on the other pond showing off and bottom feeding. See extra for a sight of the Pen and nest tucked amongst the old reeds which are yet to bloom.
