Fantail

After the crazy winds from yesterday and last night I awoke to total calm.  Not a breath of wind anywhere.  The calm before the storm maybe?  I hope not.  Enjoyed watching 2 fantails playing chase around the garden, zipping through trees like F1 drivers in a Grand Prix.  Incredible manoeuvrability.

Decided I'd take advantage of a Briscoes sale in town then regretted it when the traffic on the way home was crazy.  Popped out to get a letter from tenant M then home to a lovely chat and wine with J.......just what I needed.......the chat, that is, not the wine, though it was very nice.

Hints of rain just heard.......we're forecast for a LOT more tonight I think.
