Potential strawbs

D up early for the bus to Granton and the start of his week. I went up the allotment but didn't do much as it started raining. Thought the spudgers had eaten all of the fat balls already - but when I re-upped them we were visited by a huge crow who was obviously going to go for them again. Shall have to re-site the feeder (again).

The rain is really needed - everything looking a lot perkier, and there are even a few flowers on the strawberry plants. Heard from D later that the first brood of goslings have hatched on the island!
