Ice Cold

It may have been a mixed bag weatherwise today, but there was still business around for the ice cream van in Portobello this afternoon when I was heading back from the shop.

This took me back my days as a kid and waiting for the van, usually painted with knock off Disney characters and playing watery ‘Just One Cornetto’ music. It also reminds me of the ice cream wars that took place in Glasgow in the 1980s.

Good to see the van is an electric vehicle, a bit like the milk floats in the old days.
