Years

Thank you everyone who kindly left comments and hearts on my 4,000th Blip yesterday. I will get round to thank you all personally.  4,000 blips = 11 years but which actually should have been 13 years as my first Blip was in July 2012. I know I missed nearly all of 2023 due to ill health but don't know where the other 365 blips went?  The anniversary crept up on me and I'm annoyed I didn't do a special Blip for it.

Whatever; I'm grateful for every day I've actually spent on this amazing, unique and very special site and love being part of it. All life is here, happiness, sadness, humour, stunning photography, recommendations, ideas, encouragement and most of all some very, very nice people. Thank you to our very Fab Four, without whom we would not have been rescued and thanks, as ever, to Joe, without whom Blip would never have existed. 

My Blip is of a painting I did about 16 years ago when my friend B and I went on a weekend residential watercolour painting course in the Forest of Dean run by the late Ron Ranson. It was all a bit intimidating but I learnt a lot and liked this one enough to frame it.

Update on Mr HB: Anoinment of Eye ointment 5 times a day ongoing. Visit to the Dentist this afternoon resulted in top right wisdom tooth extraction.   

I'm still playing Nurse and Mr HB's dinner tonight was pureed.
