Karrimor
This is the close-up of the Karrimor logo on a rucksack. It's not a high end Karrimor, but it's a real one made from real materials rather than the modern stuff that carries the name these days.
My parents bought their first camping kit from the original shop in Rawtenstall, though this bag was bought later than that from a generic hiking shop when I was a student in Leeds. It had an accident when I went to the US, but it was repaired under warranty without a problem. It's now nearly 30 years old. It doesn't get used too much but it's still in good condition - even if my wife doesn't like the buckle on the belt!
