May the Fourcès Be With You
I didn’t overindulge in food or drink last night so I had a much better night’s sleep.
After breakfast, Jean (dad) and Flo (daughter) went to pick up Alice (other daughter) from Auch station as she’d flown in from Manchester. Me, Mr P and Suz went to visit another beautiful village nearby called Fourcès, famous for its round, central square!
We stopped off at bakery heaven on the way home and we’d planned an al fresco lunch but unfortunately it started raining. It cleared up later in the afternoon so we managed a walk with the dog to another lovely chapel and a UNESCO bridge. We stopped off for some Armagnac and the local drink (Floc) on the way home. Tonight we had burgers from the local street van (scrumptious) and watched This Boy’s Life with Leonardo DiCaprio (good film).
