Disappointing.

Today was supposed to be the big day, stiches out and bandages off.  As you can see that is not the case.  I arrived for my appointment and off came the dressing, if the truth were told it was only the tube dressing that was keeping things in place.

The 14 stiches were slowly removed, they varied from "that one was almost coming out on its own" to "did you feel that, it was stuck".  Then he spotted the problem.  There was a section of about 3mm that hadn't scabbed and healed as he would have liked.  So he said I will put addressing on and see you again in 4 days, next Tuesday.  Then he realised he hadn't an appointment until nest Thursday.

So I am stuck with still having to keep my hand dry for another week.
