Summer days, drifting away

The garden's summer blooms are fading and it would seem the beautiful weather is too. Another day of sunshine and showers with a decidedly autumnal nip in the air. Ophelia had a PJ day and the furthest Grace ventured was to play with the neighbours' children. Arwen and I mooched in the garden a little during dry spells. Hubby managed to get as far as Hexham after work but only to do the weekly grocery shop. All for the best really. I can't handle late nights anymore so a quiet day was welcome. Even managed a two hour nap when Arwen slept this morning.
