Wound up in Wexford

Playing for a wedding

During the morning, I pottered around in the sewing room - managed to find a suitable frame for yet another of the mini cross stitch projects I'm trying to clear from my cupboards.

Then in the afternoon, one of the members of our flute group was getting married, and some of us played a few tunes for the guests.  It all went quite well.  Credit for this photo to Ann, our musical director, who was organising us, and played with us.

The wedding was at Ferrycarrig Hotel, and C and S (seen in extras, snapped through the window) were so lucky with the weather - there's been a good bit of rain and wind, with more expected over the weekend (it is a holiday weekend, so of course the weather is crap!) but today the weather was really quite warm and not too windy.

After we'd played, we sat in the hotel bar for a drink and a chat, and could admire the wedding party and their guests milling around and being photographed in the garden.
