Sapporo

It seems fitting that the 3 of us are ending our trip together in Sapporo where the last Race Across The World TV program began, so we tried to re-enact those opening scenes in front of the Sapporo TV Tower. We will need to watch it for a third time now we have seen it for real. Ms H flies home tomorrow, the 2 of us on Tuesday. Hopefully Ms H will get our home shipshape for us returning.

So we went up the TV Tower for the views, walls of mountains on each side except to the north where there is sea. Great views all around. We walked down the mile length of Odori Park then on to the Hokkaido Jingu shrine. Ms H was keen to do some shopping on her last day, sadly there were not enough men's seats for me to sit on and wait.

A quick refresh at the hotel then out for dinner at a craft beer pub, nice and cosy. Finally back up the TV tower for some night time views of the city.
