In three weeks time Chris and Rose are getting married.  In Majorca.  They’ve asked if Varnika and I will sing a couple of songs during the ceremony.  

Here’s the thing; I know the songs they want us to sing - I’ve been singing them for years with the band. But Varnika doesn’t.  We need to practice - pronto.  But she’s in Goa.  And I’m not.

So this morning I recorded the first one in my recording studio (AKA the bathroom) with the engineer (AKA  Anniemay) holding the mic (AKA phone) perched on the toilet seat (you get the picture) ….   

About 10 minutes ago I sent an MP4 file and a PDF of the lyrics to Varnika.  As I post this, she sends me a message to say she’s received it and will start practicing……
