I was out along the Thompson River before 6:30. Vantage Point is a great place to gauge the river and the area. I took my shots of my mountains to the east and looked across the pilings to the far shore. It's a warmer morning than yesterday with 6 C now in hazy sunshine. I could see a solitary bird bobbing along with the current. It dived and disappeared momentarily, then popped up to the surface again.

We're at the start of Easter weekend. The city is rather quiet. I see my annoying neighbours are already at it with yet another 'garage sale'. Why a retired person would want to waste their precious time flogging other people's used goods is beyond me!!! We're to expect rain on Sunday so perhaps their sale may be short-lived.

I'm off to vote in the advance polls this morning. Our federal election is scheduled for April 28, but I like to get it done a.s.a.p.
