This afternoon’s companion

We looked after the hound this afternoon for a couple of hours while Pam and Adie went furniture shopping.  I spent an hour or so on my bed so the hound joined me.
 
Not the best of days. 
 
The car was running on diesel fumes so it was important to get it topped up with the liquid stuff just in case.  Mrs W now has a temperature of 38 plus which for her on immunosuppressant drugs could mean an emergency dash to A&E.  Fortunately she does have emergency antibiotics, and has put them into use.  
 
As my temperature has come down to mid/high 36 I have taken over the ‘looking after’ duties.  Pork and cider casserole for dinner tonight, but I intend to get a quick shower and an hour or so’s kip before dinner time.
 
Much the same with commenting for the moment.
