Tunnel 10

My sister, a friend and I took part in the Tunnel 10k. It goes from Fowey to Par and back through the Pinnock tunnel (longest tunnel in Cornwall over a kilometre in length).
It was a wet day, very wet with a weather warning. But we all turned up, along with my sister's daughter, boyfriend and daughter to cheer us on.
It was an interesting route in pleasant surroundings, my friend and I (we are quite well matched running wise) ran and chatted together. My sister wanted to run on her own as she said if I ran with her she would feel she had to run faster than she could.
I had no idea what time I would do but we finished in 1hr 5mins, and I was quite pleased with that.
My sister said she was aiming for 1hr 30mins and she finished in 1hr 25mins.
We were going to chat and spend some time in Fowey but we were so wet we decided to all go home.
