Time To Say Goodbye

I have a small watch collection, all of which are regularly worn as I don’t believe in just keeping them stored away in boxes and never looking at them. One of my collection is a permanent member for sentimental reasons, but the others are up for replacement if something else comes along.
Which is what has happened with this one. I’ve enjoyed it for nearly four years, but another make and model recently caught my eye. After some soul searching, I decided to change and visited the jewellers accordingly. The bad news is that they are no longer doing part exchange deals so I will need to sell this one first and then buy the new one.
The good news is that it just so happens there is a dealership in Kendal which specialises in selling pre-owned watches on commission. Contact has been made, my watch is being handed over tomorrow and I’m hoping they will achieve a speedy sale. They have excellent reviews and were recommended by the chap in the jewellers, so I’m hoping it won’t be too long before I’m sporting a new timepiece on my wrist…
