A contender

A grand day out with Ruby, exploring some ancient woodlands and evaluating trees for wedding ceremony purposes.

As well as discovering some new (to me) off the beaten track woodlands, I had a great chat with Seamus about disc golf (name dropping Clean Steve) and bumped into an old pal who now works for the Scottish National Trust and who suggested we could consider his venue which is a very cool old mill.

A fair few other woods to visit first and plenty of ancient trees to hug. Looking forward to it.
