Another entry…

…for Documented Life Journey on FB. 
Choir this morning a few were absent but we did well anyway. We are learning Frank Sinatra songs for a multi choir day in Carleton near Skipton in June.  Each choir will perform a few songs and we will learn one song which we will all sing together. Should be good. I love our choir and Sue our director teaches us to read music as we go along and tells us to put our words down so we learn it all by heart which gives us confidence. We all love her and we’re so glad she is still with us after being so ill last Winter.

It’s been a mostly wet day but I didn’t mind, the garden looks happy and it was quite nice to do indoor things.

We’ve been watching The Maid a really good drama series. We had watched it before but I don’t think we watched it to the end last time.
A young mum’s struggle to make a life for herself and her toddler after domestic abuse and a mother with mental illness. It had a lovely happy ending and the wee girl in it is so cute and a good little actress. :-)
Now I’m going to read my book till it’s time for bed. I’m trying to stay up a bit later - hopefully till 10.00.
