U F O morning,

with an Easter feeling in the air. I abandoned my plan to knit and gave a hand preparing Easter goodies for a fun day on Monday in the community orchard. A very relaxing time.  One of our hosts is into baking using a sour dough starter, she made these hot cross buns, they were very good.,

This evening an outing to our favourite restaurant only a 10 minute drive from home. We met with others from the community tree nursery for a celebratory meal out, it was excellent with great food and interesting chat. The restaurant is run by a young couple who do all the work, the kitchen is within sight of the dining area, the chef is an efficient, quiet person who loves food.  His partner works the dining room, easily coping with 18 of us, she will probably know everyone in there this evening.
