On guard

There are a pair of pigeons hanging around. Usually just one stays on the wire and the other must be on the nest. But every now and then they sit on the wire together and make a fuss pf each other. They persist even if wet and windy like today.

I wonder if they enjoy swinging back and forth on the wire?
