A snipe!!!

Headed up to the lakes and Montezuma today and it was a bonanza ! 
lots of great blue herons, ring billed gulls by the hundreds , blue teals , green teals ,and the winners the snipe (my husband spotted) and they have nesting owls on the property which we actually saw> In extras though from a distance. Hoping that we can get back in week or so ! This was the best thing all week given the awful stuff still coming out  of Washington.
