Two in one morning!!

This was the second episode of dipper nesting activity of this morning.
The bird was investigating, if not using this pipe under the bridge in Matlock as a (potential?) nesting spot.
The angle of it and the fact that it is demonstrably draining water makes it seem like a bit of a desperation move, but who knows? I have seen birds investigating this spot a couple of years back.
This great view was after a good bit of time watching the nest downstream where we saw the male flying in with food - so exciting at the moment!!
