Rain, actually extremely heavy showers fell at times today!

This view of the road, and rain, was taken as we were returning home from Nelson this afternoon. 

Soon after, the rainfall increased in intensity making it almost impossible to see the road - the windscreen wipers were struggling, even at full speed!
