Finally winning on mice :-)

There have been two wee mice taking advantage of peanut's hospitality over the last month or so. I affectionately call the "Oi you!" and "Oi you too".

Although I'm a big mouse fan, the idea of them breeding has been concerning me for a while.

I've put humane traps everywhere but they have been studiously ignoring them. Last night however it occurred to me that peanut butter must just smell like danger to them now (as it's commonly used as trap bait).

Having a late night snack of dried apricot I popped some in the mouse caravans and went to bed. 

This morning... success! I think I caught the female. Luckily she doesn't look pregnant.

I packed her off with a suitcase of provisions to a nice leafy spot beneath a tree in the cemetery.

If I am luck enough to catch the other one I will release it in the same place.
