Rhine Beach

After visiting my mother for an early Easter lunch and coffee, I drove to the village of Niederwalluf for some errands, and to look at the river Rhine. Last week, its water level had reportedly sunk to the lowest ever recorded in April, but since then it has rained in parts of its river basin.

Not enough, apparently. The water usually goes up all the way to the steps on the right side of the blip; and the restaurant ships in the middle ground should be afloat in the river, not sitting on the ground.

But at least the children had fun playing on the beach.
