Happy Day

After a week of lead walks, Piggy was due some freedom. She made the most of it by having a dunk in every stream and pond. Storm did some spectacular leaping over fallen trees. He was patient with me trying to keep up, showing me the easier crossing places over ditches.

While they slept I got my sewing machine out to make some bag clips for sun hats inspired by the ones I’d seen in the National Trust shop at Standen on Thursday.

I had some crocodile clips from an old pair of Martin’s braces, keychain clips I’d cut off from my Barking Bag (annoying jingling noise) and some offcuts of fabric. Nothing like a free project to raise a smile :)
