Boat Trip to Oxna

A beautiful calm and sunny morning first thing.  Clouded over, with sunny spells, breezy too.

Up at 5am, early street beat cleaning in Lerwick.  I was on the north beat, Philip on south.  Washing out after work.  Headed out with peerie Brian on the boat in the late morning.  An afternoon in the garden, grass cut and flowerbeds ready for planting.  Off to work in the shop this evening, more than likely a busy night, followed by another early to bed. 

The boat is back in the water, after repairs done over the winter months by big Brian and peerie Brian.  Good to get a good run today, all going great and working as it should.  A quick stop and hike around the isle, but no-one staying here for the lambing yet.  Great to be out on the ocean again, hopefully a summer of trips ahead.  The Golden West tied up in Sandy Voe, Oxna.
