I know that they are the Spanish variety .....

..... but en masse the bluebells make a wonderful carpet.
These flowers are not growing in a forest or woodland but on a piece of waste ground just off the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow. You do have to park the car, walk a few paces and then you are surrounded by a carpet of blue.

A dull day but there has been no rain so it was good to get out and stretch my legs after yesterday's lethargy.
