Eider

There was lots of eider activity on the WoL this morning, mostly males chasing females or sparring with each other. I saw this feller appear from under the bridge, hotly pursuing a female. Just as I got out the camera she dived (see area of bubbles, top right) - couldn't tell if he was confused or resigned.

Was at the market a bit later than usual (no Pie Dolly as she's getting married in the morning!) so bumped into Mel and Sassie. S has apparently discovered how to swim by falling in the WoL. Also met blipper Sally Mair, who was heading for the plant stall at the market. 

Finally received a load of mp3 files of some of Dick Gaughan's back catalogue which I have to write something about. Dear me, it'll mean joined up sentences and everything.
