When this roll of film is done I’ve got a replacement focussing screen waiting to go in. At the moment forcing is using the split image, which you line up and know you’re in focus. It works well, but one some slower lenses (like my 200-500mm) the focussing patch in the middle goes dark.

So a brighter B2 screen awaits, which will rely more on my eye for the focus being right, but that’s better than darkness making the line-lining a bit of a guess.

All because I have plans for some film wildlife photography….
