Bluebell woodland
This afternoon we went for a much needed walk in countryside, a short drive from home. The bluebells in Parnholt Wood, near Winchester, were at their peak.It is ancient woodland, evidenced by the presence not only of Bluebells, but also Wood Anemone, Stitchwort, Yellow Archangel, Wood Spurge, Celandine, and a few clumps of my favourite Moschatel (town hall clock plant). See last year's blip: Moschatel
We visited my Mum, Doris, this morning, and then I popped back briefly this evening. She seems to be stable, and was still very talkative.
