Putting the J on Jim

Jim was able to wear his new and larger Hi viz today to marshal near the finish at Wickford memorial parkrun.

They were celebrating their 200th event and had cake for the volunteers, an Easter egg for the 200th finisher and a beautifully decorated finish funnel.

I had a decent walk time and Emma and Elaine looked pleased as they finished just after me.  We headed to the Toby carvery afterwards for a breakfast buffet.  

In the afternoon I helped with packing at the house of one of the swim group I meet at the river.  She is recovering from surgery and was discharged from hospital last week. Not great when your house sale is going through. The group, her friends and family have rallied together to help.  I cleared craft stuff from under the bed and then tackled under the kitchen sink. It's tiring work but we got a lot done.
