Easter Sunday

Finally sat on my new garden furniture enjoying the sun and what is before my eyes. Have just done an hour of dressing gown gardening, do you do that? Popped out to water a drooping plant and didn’t come back in till l’d done another dozen little jobs.
Before that l had a slice of toasted, buttered Rarebit Hot Cross Bun that Rebecca brought me yesterday. It’s from Betty’s and oh my word it is delicious.
Normally l don’t like any of these new flavoured concoctions, why meddle with perfection.
But this bun loaf is on another level and suits my savoury tooth.
On my own this Easter Sunday as my family are away.
Booked in to Ilkley Cinema  later this afternoon to see The Penguin Lessons so very much looking forward to that.
Will call in to see Ruby at the Ticket Office where she is working behind the bar , so she is also looking after Ronnie while the others are in the Lake District. Might even have a glass of something there.
