Camping
We attended the Easter church service at Wentworth Falls with Graham's family.
They are very well geared to children and besides their customary puppet show which is very well done they had a game of Kahoot. It's an online quiz (Easter questions this time) where everyone participates with their phones and the quickest to respond with the correct answer gets the most points.
That ruled us out of being competitive on both counts but it was exciting to see Hugh and Henry both near the top for most of the game which was eventually won by Graham and Elizabeth!
Back to the farm for the afternoon and we went for a bike ride right out the back where I haven't been before as it was inaccessible till we got the crossing repaired recently. It was pretty rough terrain and even Mr isbi admitted it wasn't fun, but at least having survived that, the normal stuff seems easy.
While we were at church Helen managed to sprain her ankle with some enthusiastic kite flying with the twins so she is hobbling around on crutches.
That gave them the excuse to relocate the camping excursion from the creek to the garden, just in case.
We still went down to the original campsite to toast marshmallows on the fire before retiring. The kids hadn't seen sparklers before. Ayman declined to hold one but Ella was happy to until she burnt her finger touching it when it went out!
It's the first night in a tent for Omar and the twins. Hopefully it stays up as it was a new, inexpensive one and like all new tents wasn't as easy to erect as claimed.
Sorry to do another collage but it is a good record of the activity.
