Still At It

I am still spending time in my craft room weeding out and re-organizing; today it was book and journal making supplies...

I dragged out the basket (above) and three other containers and was amazed at all the neat things I had collected over the years to make artsy little books..and had not used! I just could not bring myself to throw any of those fun things out, as I just might need them if the urge to create a journal should arise. 

It was just as well that I did not start pulling everything out to see if there were some possible donations in all that paraphernalia as I really needed to get busy packing, meeting with my cat sitter, and getting the house ready to leave it for a few days. 

I am heading out tomorrow to visit my daughter and husband in the countryside in south western Ontario. It is  2 1/2 - 3 hour drive depending on traffic, and since my accident I have not driven anywhere over a half hour away. I am curious to see how my arms deal with the challenge;  it will also be a test to see how close I am getting to getting ready to travel again - to being able to lug bags and suitcases and to have enough stamina to get by without napping! 

I am really looking forward to seeing family again;  they go away for the winters so it has been months since we met face to face!
