We thought we saw a very large burial mound, but it was the so called Vierlingsbunker, part of the defense works the IJssellinie. IJssellinie was a top secret waterline from the Cold War, which was supposed to protect our country against a possible Russian invasion. By putting this plan into action, a 127 kilometer long and five to ten kilometer wide strip of land would be flooded.

We cycled through Deventer and Zwolle, among other places. We have a constant headwind. If we had had the wind in our backs, I would have called it a beautiful summer Easter day.
