Shades of Yellow
……and a daft dog!
Thank you all so very much for your kind comments, hearts and stars on my blipday a couple of days ago. With everything that’s been going on, I was completely oblivious to my milestone coming up.
I really appreciate all you lovely people who take the time and make the effort to stop by my journal.
A big Thank You also to the people who work so hard behind the scene to keep this wonderful site running so smoothly.
This morning we headed to Hamilton wood for our walk, but there were already 2 cars parked in the tiny space. A rare sight, as I seldom meet anyone there. So, eager to find somewhere quiet, we headed to Gillingshill Nature Reserve. The wildflowers were a joy; primroses, buttercups, marsh marigolds, bluebells and the great scent of gorse. There was a pair of swans on the reservoir and the sun was shining.
In the afternoon I worked in the garden moving plants and clearing space for the summer house. Got Gary to remove the tree and a couple of big bushes. Still a bit to do.
After that I popped along to see how Suzy and the girls are recovering. They’ve had the tummy bug too. All 9 people who were together for lunch on Tuesday ended up with the bug within 24 hours. The kids have all recovered quickly, but it’s taking a bit longer for the adults.
