Anns a' choille

A lazy start to this morning - breakfast in bed (which is the default), and a longish lie. Once up I moved across the landing to my workroom aka spare room and got caught up in some needle felting. I have been really enjoying trying new things since I went to the workshop a few weeks ago. I did a couple of "paintings" when I was and since back I have been recreating scenes of Loch Faskally which I had tried before. It is interesting to see how my style/approach is evolving.

After lunch I headed out for a walk around the Black Sprout Wood. I was hoping the wood anemones would still be out and they were.  It had been a while since I had visited these wood and I enjoyed my walk.

I then did the next video in my Yin Yoga Hip Opener course - each one is just 15 mins long but it can be a surprisingly challenging 15 mins. The instructor focuses on the physical benefits which I like and he also explains the different types of motion your joints can undertake. Afterwards I went for a lie down on my Accupressure mat and feel asleep! However I woke up feeling refreshed.

We will continue watching Heimat 2 tonight which is currently focusing on the life of Hermann (a key character is series 1 & 3) and fellow students in Munich in the 1960s.
