"Beatles, Brats & Beer"

Today we are docked in Hamburg, Germany.  This afternoon we took a tour entitled "Beatles, Brats & Beer", which took us to the infamous Reeperbahn where the Beatles got their start. 

I'm sure it is very tame compared to how it was in the 1960's, but it was still quite something to see!  An interesting look into some of Hamburg's culture, including a stop at a local bratwurst stall to sample the wares, a walking tour of the various nightclubs in the Red Light District where the Beatles performed, and a stop at a local beer hall for a taste of Germany's favourite beverage.

Tomorrow will be a much more somber day ...
