Castle Island

Early start to Schull and what a busy day it was in the shop, Rosie took over for a few hours in the afternoon and I managed a kayak out to the uninhabited Castle Island. It's quite a big island with a several ruins, a pier and of course a castle ruin. I had the whole place to myself which was amazing considering this is the busiest weekend of the season! It's a beautiful island and I look forward to returning as time was limited today for exploring. I have the girls to collect and we are invited to a birthday supper.
