People's Palace, Glasgow Green

A little bus trip into town today just for the sake of it. The People's Palace is an odd but interesting museum of Glasgow memorabilia. I stood and had a laugh at the film loop containing old comedy footage from Billy Connolly , Rab C Nesbit, Francie and Josie, and the incomparable Dorothy Paul
Good cafe but service never seems to rattle along at a satisfactory rate so at least a 10 minute queue just to get your order in! Huge round tables usually that seat about 6 or more when a lot of folk just want a 2 or 4.
Wonderful glassy domed area to eat your lunch though.
