Simnel cake or what's left of it!

Didn't see much of the weather today as I was indoors cooking!

If there's one meal I don't like doing it's a roast dinner! It's not the cooking it's trying to get everything dished up and hot! Anyway today it turned out quite well and K, a friend and myself enjoyed it with lots of veg, some wine and then apple pie and blackberry and apple crumble or simnel cake with fresh raspberries. Later a coffee with truffles, lots of interesting conversation and afterwards we went for a walk. This was the only photo taken today, also back blipped yesterdays
