Wound up in Wexford

Solitary bluebell

This solitary bluebell has appeared in the bed next to our patio.  We removed most of a griselinia hedge from there, and were aware there were some unidentified bulbs.  Well, now they're identified.  And hopefully, with more light and less competition, they will flourish.

It hasn't rained today, but I didn't feel inclined to work in the garden.  I spent some time sorting and ironing clean washing, and then cleared a lot of rubbish from a box of half finished small projects - completing some, throwing others out.

The house martins have reclaimed their nest, but the sparrows are still hanging around.

W did do some garden work - preparing the beds in the polytunnel for the tomatoes that are growing from the seeds he planted.
