On Some Days

Like A Rolling Stone . . . Bob Dylan

Mono Monday . . . Reclaimed . . . from the natural world

There may be a pause in the rain but I'm sure it will return.  I popped outside to get a blip.  When we came to live here the garden bed that now has roses in it was a long stretch of stones with a couple of carpet roses.  That wasn't going to suit me.  A friend wanted the stones so they were barrowed around the corner to their roadside verge.  I kept a few to fill this gabion basket and be a feature in the garden.  I assume the former owners of this house reclaimed the stones from the Waimea River.  Mono is really good for disguising the weeds.  They just look like plants.
