Little Girls And Their Shoes

My granddaughter proudly walked out to the patio wearing her fancy shoes that she obviously put on herself. Her entire personality changes to one of an actress who is ready for her performance on stage. She even has a wiggle to her walk!
I don't have the heart to tell her that her shoes are on the wrong feet! She had such a confidence about her since she did it herself. It really makes you think about how good a simple accomplishment can feel. After all, don't we all love that feeling of confidence?
When you are two years old you really don't have allot of hangups yet. You want to do everything yourself. Each new thing you conquer is another boost to your self esteem. The look of pride on their faces is priceless. We can all take a lesson from that!
One thing at a time. One day at a time. We can all learn something new and conquer it the best we can. Then put on our grownup shoes and go out into the world and kick some butt!
