Saddleback seen from Gothics

A hike that was almost as challenging as the one up Saddleback itself last year (see here). The last half mile is mostly huge expanses of bare rock, and is one of the steepest climbs I ever attempted.

As usual, the view up there makes it worthwhile.

22 kms, to which we added a few by taking a wrong turn on the way down.
