Sharp Banked Turn

Me sitting on a log by this stream, looking out for herons, when one flew directly at me, at the white's of my eyes. Maybe 5 feet away my shape registered and you could almost hear the brakes and the wheels off the ground as he turned sharply right. The camera was semi-ready with light and aperture, so that although not perfectly focused I was able to catch this near collision. I know I am too big to go down his long gullet!
