A fortuitous theme for MonoMonday...

...as we had planned a rainy day sort-out in the "Outdoor Pursuits" cupboard...

Several items were reclaimed for recycling, and there's now room in the cupboard to store the skis over the summer. Roy read an article that suggested it was a bad idea to store them in the loft, as it gets hot up there and they dry up and crack...

Anyway - we use the various bags we get poked through the door to gather stuff together, but we never put them out for collection. When you read the small print, only a tiny amount of the proceeds is given to the charity, and in our area the same white van comes round to collect the bags, sporting a different magnetic logo each time...

We take bags to our local hospice shop instead - we are happier that anything raised actually gets to the charity in this way.
